Larry D. Kolb, II, Owner
Growing up with a father in the business, Larry knew that he would one day follow and have a career in the roofing industry. While attending Texas Tech University, Larry worked as the lead roofing estimator for Brown Roofing and Construction in Lubbock. In 2000, Larry returned to Houston to join the family business. Larry has worked in all aspects of the roofing industry as laborer, job foreman, estimator, and certified roof consultant. Larry works closely with his material manufacturer companies and distributors to offer his residential and commercial customers the best roofing products on the market. In 2002, Larry expanded the commercial division of the company and has completed large scale commercial roofing projects spanning the Gulf Coast and East Coast states. Larry is a certified and licensed roofing contractor in Louisiana, Alabama, North Carolina, and South Carolina. He is also a member of the National Roofing Contractors Association, Roofing Contractors Association of Texas, and is a certified applicator for all of the roofing products he installs.

Outside of roofing, Larry enjoys spending time with his family and staying involved with his community. He volunteers and supports activites throughout the Spring Branch ISD School District. His passion for sports has lead him to be active in the Spring Branch Memorial Sports Association serving as a coach for the past 9 years for soceer and softball and serving as field commissioner. His childrens’ participation in FFA keeps him involved in the Houston Livestock and Rodeo and traveling the roads across Texas to livestock events.

Jill Kolb
Jill Kolb is the CFO and Marketing Director for Long Point Roofing. Jill grew up on a Brahman cattle ranch in Hungerford, TX. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M University in 2001. After graduation, Jill worked as a loan officer for an agricultural lending institution. Upon moving to Houston, she earned her teaching certification and taught for Spring Branch ISD. In 2006, Jill joined the family business on a full-time basis. She is actively involved in the day-to-day operations of the Long Point Roofing. Larry and Jill along with their children also own and operate their own ranch and herd of Brahman cattle.

When not attending to work duties, Jill stays involved in her community and childrens’ activities. Over the years she has served on the preschool board for Pines Presbyterian Preschool, was PTA President, PTA Parliamentarian, School Supplies chair, Brick sales chair, served on the Financial audit committee, classroom and library volunteer at Frostwood Elementary, Grade Level Advisor for two years for the National Charity League - Houston Hearts Chapter, Executive Board member for 2 terms, Fiesta Fundraiser chair, and Show and Sale chair for the Spring Branch FFA Alumni Association, and Spring Branch Memorial Sports Association – Boots and Ballgames Gala chair. Jill loves attending and supporting all three of her children at their school, sporting, and livestock events.
